• For cutting common metric thread M3 – M12 according to DIN13, accuracy ISO2 – 6H in blind and through holes in low carbon and alloy steels, cast iron and non-ferrous metals;
• Straight flutes, right thread, polished thread profile;
• Each set includes:

1. First tap with 5-6 cutting turns
2. Second tap with 3-4 cutting turns
3. Calibration tap with 2-3 cutting turns

• Taps sets up to M6 inclusive have a reinforced tail, sets above M6 have a normal tail;
• Maximum depth /length/ of the thread – 1.5 thread diameter. E.g. for M6 threads the maximum depth is 9 mm.
