CNC Floor Type Horizontal Boring Machine

FERMAT’s Horizontal Boring Mill WRF 130 represents the newest technology and concept of floor-type horizontal boring mills with movable column that are currently on the global marketplace. Its powerful headstock consists of a movable slide ram (Z-axis) and moveable live spindle (W-axis). WRF 130 has excellent accuracy of circular interpolation and high precision of the additional CNC rotary table.

Because of its modern design, WRF 130 is a universal boring and milling machine that allows efficient processing of large and heavy workpieces while conserving high precision and quality of the operation.

The machine column adopts a longitudinal movement (along the X-axis) while the rotary table moves transversely and rotatably (V-axis and B-axis).

Fully integrated modular design lets customers configure their machine to their requirements, including X-travel from 2 400 mm to 28 100 mm, Y-axis travel from 2 000 mm to 4 000 mm, with a variety of headstocks, tables and floor plates.

The CNC Rotary Tables T25/ T40/ T50, with table sizes from 2 050 x 2 050 mm to 3 000 x 3 000 mm, can hold heavy workpieces of up to 25 000 kg/ 40 000 kg/ 50 000 kg. Even heavier workpieces can be clamped on floor plates or specially designed tables.
